Matthew J. Hogan

Matt joined the Leadership Group as a Principal in 2020. With close to a decade of search experience, he has had the good fortune of partnering with market changing venture capital and private equity backed software companies to place C-level and EVP/SVP-level executives. Recent search projects include NS1 (Dell Technologies Capital), Jobvite (K1 Investments), ServiceMax (Silver Lake Partners), FinTech (Luminate Capital Partners), Front (Sequoia), Turo (IAC), Maple Rock Capital Partners, and TransUnion.

Originally from Saratoga Springs, NY, Matt graduated from the University of Albany with a B.A. in Economics, and now resides in San Francisco with his wife, Carolyn. Outside the workplace, it's important to Matt that he gives back to his community. He volunteers his time throughout the year for a non-profit organization focusing on bettering the lives of at-risk youth in the Bay Area through educational and outdoor initiatives. On the weekends, you can catch Matt partaking in a friendly game of dominos or attempting to break 90 on one of San Francisco’s local golf courses.
